Bucket Busters

Bucket Busters was originally started in 2001 when Steve Hilstein was asked to put a “Stomp like” percussion group together to perform for an event at church. Forward to 2008 and get ready for the revitalization of Bucket Busters!

Bucket Busters is a really fun way to get your chops happening, because we don’t just beat on buckets and trash cans, we develop stick technique that can be applied to the drums. A variety of routines will be rehearsed and performed at various community events including Farmers Markets and the Annual Drum Circuit Drum Competition.

Bucket Busters begins October 4, 2008 and will meet 4 Saturdays a month 10:00-11:00 AM at The Drum Circuit in San Luis Obispo. Performances at various places and times throughout the county will begin early 2009.
