The World Beat Rhythms performance/clinic features critically acclaimed drummers, composers, educators and authors Maria Martinez and Ed Roscetti. They perform using drumset and a variety of traditional hand drums,covering a variety of traditional and hybrid styles. This will give the attendees a better understanding about technique, time feel, rhythmic phrasing, song form, improvisation and leading the ensemble. This interaction offers an excellent opportunity for professionals, educators and students of all ages to come together and explore communication through the language of the drum in a supportive and inspiring environment. World Beat Rhythms is a unique celebration of rhythm, energy and the joy of ensemble music.
